Academic Facilities
Science Lab
Science can only be learned through experiments. At MET, we have the best labs that adhere to all the safety measures to keep your child academically progressing. We have three separate labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology to help your child learn their lessons from real-time experience. We help students to figure out advanced and complex concepts through experiments and visual strategies because effective teaching involves the science of seeing, handling and manipulating real objects and materials
Digital Classrooms
In our digital classrooms, we adopt effective digital tools for effective teaching, learning, communication and evaluation. MET has it all with its well-equipped digital classrooms with SMART boards and smart learning. There are Wi-Fi access points to provide wireless coverage and an uninterrupted learning experience to all classrooms.
Library
The library at MET is well-stocked with huge volumes of books that serve as reference books, encyclopedias, journals, newspapers and popular fiction for students and faculties. We have subscriptions to newspapers, national and international magazines. The computerised database enables our students to have easy and quick access to all their necessary books. In an era when everything is turning digital, we encourage our students to promote reading by organising festivals, displays and activities. The library also has well-qualified librarians to assist the students in developing their reading skills.
Computer Centre
The cyber-world has grown to extend where everything we do in one or the another revolves around information technology. To incorporate Information Technology and move side-by-side with the modern era, MET has included Computer Science and other computer courses as prescribed by the curriculum. Students have unlimited access to computers along with professional software tools. Our computer labs are linked to common file servers connected to the outside world via internet leased lines.
Beyond Academics
Outdoor Sports
It’s not just academics that bring out the best in students. Our students are well trained and proved best in outdoor sports and other activities that test their physical capabilities. The school provides a wide range of outdoor sports facilities to encourage our students to encourage physical training along with academics. Inculcating sports into the curriculum has encouraged our students to develop a sense of responsibility and discipline for their fellow beings.
Yoga
The inclusion of yoga has enhanced our students with physical and mental flexibility. This has in turn increased their attention spans, reduced stress and greatly improved their academic performance and peer-to-peer interactions. Yoga is a perfect addition to a student’s life that helps to keep the children calm and to promote holistic growth.
Safety and Security
Safety and security are of prime priority to us and to keep the minds of parents at ease. The school is equipped with 24*7 security facilities with CCTV surveillance along with the traditional guards to provide full-time safety and protection to the students. All parts of the campus are monitored and kept under good watch. The students are safe within the premises of the school, thanks to the added layers of security.
Insurance
Medical insurance up to Rs 25000/- per student in case of any casualty inside and outside the school in collaboration with United Insurance Company.
Purified drinking water facilities
The school has installed water purifiers and coolers to provide the students with pure, hygienic and cool drinking water all throughout the day. Drinking water has several health benefits and the purified drinking water facilities at MET ensures that focus is put on maintaining the health and well-being of the staff and students on the campus.
Community Service
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The NSS has emerged as a powerful youth movement that acts as a catalyst to build the right leadership in an institution. The NSS unit at MET has helped the students develop an appreciation for the point of view of their peers and fellow students. The overall aim of the NSS unit at MET is development in terms of personality through the community service undertaken. The National Service Scheme at MET has also inculcated a spirit of voluntary work among our students and teachers through sustained community interactions.
Scout and Guides
The scouts and guides unit has helped students at MET become better individuals by bringing out a sense of devotion towards the community and promoting world brotherhood. This unit is a movement for young students without discrimination in origin, race or creed. The movement trains the youth at MET to commit to ideals of truth, loyalty, voluntary service and moral integrity to grow up into responsible citizens of the country.
